Set your faces to stun! It’s Lucy Lovegun!
Gird your loins because this babe is pure glam rock with the moves to shock and energy as high as her hair!
The Lovegun is a fully automated weapon of sound with no safety, with armour-piercing bullets that will hit you straight between the thighs.
A dangerously kooky mix of Lucille Ball and Pat Benatar, Lucy burst onto the Western Australian scene and claimed the title of Miss Burlesque Western Australia 2014 as a blushing debutante. Quickly gaining notoriety for her exuberant performances Lucy joined Perth’s premier neo-cabaret troupe Sugar Blue Burlesque where she is a devoted teacher of the art of tease.
After tearing up stages with her balls to wall style of burlesque throughout Australia, Singapore, the UK and Europe Lucy had the honour in 2018 of touring Australia as a national headliner for the Australian Burlesque Festival.
She’s not here to play; she came to slay.
‘The wee dram of glam’ has been gracing Australian stages since late 2018, after migrating from Aberdeen, Scotland via London, England. Known by her rich and smoky onstage persona, she also carries years of professional dance performing, choreographing and teaching wherever she goes.
Whisky has won titles such as Bohemian Princess of Burlesque 2016, and World Burlesque Games Winner 2017, and continues to impress audiences with her varied repertoire.
And it’s not just her dance that she is being remembered for- Whisky is now bringing her fire and finesse to the stages as an emcee too! Watch out for quick wit, drinking games and some traditional Scottish teachings anytime Whisky is behind the mic!
BB le Buff
BB le Buff is one of Brisbane’s premier burlesque showgirls, with a passion for performing Burlesque, Hula Hoop, Circus and Sideshow acts. She draws her inspiration from vaudeville, the history of travelling circuses and her passion for animals; then infuses it with twisted parody. BB is the Headmistress at her School of Performance; Brisbane’s longest running Burlesque & Variety school, which is shimmying its way into its 12th year. She produces a bi-monthly show called “CaBBaret” – Brisbane’s longest running regular burlesque event - to showcase professional artistes from around Australia and the world; and uses it as a platform for her students to flaunt their new skills in a graduation performance.
BB has performed at many renowned festivals including The Australian Burlesque Festival, Perth International Burlesque Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Woodford Folk Festival, Gorelesque, the Gangster’s Ball, Garter Belts and Gasoline and Island Vibes; as well as many varied events such as Dr Sketchy’s, music videos and media campaigns.
BB is devoted to the vintage lifestyle and is an avid collector of fashions and assorted antiques from all eras. She has featured as the face of the Brisbane Vintage Fashion Fair for many years in print ads and TV commercials; and loves her work as a Pin-Up model too.
